In five years, Women in Leadership will be an international non-profit devoted to providing women with the resources to get an education, apply for jobs and leadership positions, and find markets to scale their ventures. Additionally, our goal is to collaborate with other organizations to provide abortion access and sex education. To start, we will focus on raising money for women in nearby shelters, teaching workshops for public speaking and arts and crafts, and creating a network women can use to sell their art and raise awareness online. To get there, we need to master working with local shelters and nonprofit organizations, so we can gain the experience needed to organize international projects. To this end, we will research and talk to shelters to understand the main problems women face, and work with them to find long-term, effective solutions. Overtime, we also hope to expand the reach and impact of the organization to advocate for women in business, women’s health, and women’s access to education internationally.
